Collision Repair & Refinishing



The Collision Repair and Refinishing program teaches the basic principles and terminology of the auto body repair industry. This hands-on repair program teaches metal work, basic painting and color matching, cost estimation, industry safety protocol, structural analysis, computer diagnostic systems, and welding in collision repair. After completion of the two-year program, successful candidates will be prepared to seek one or more certifications like the I-CAR Platinum Cert and ASE Entry Level Certification – Mechanical and Electrical Components. Moreover, West-MEC offers these industry credential tests at no additional cost. Through the program specialization in automotive collision technology, students are provided a pathway to economic independence. Collision Repair & Refinishing classes required for graduation must be taken in sequence. Concurrent enrollment is prohibited.
