Electrical Trade Specialty
The Electrical Trade Specialty program prepares trainees to enter the electrical field. This course will cover the base fundamentals of the following: construction math, power & hand tools, basic rigging, material handling, communication skills, and employability skills, electrical circuits, device boxes and equipment, raceways and fittings, conductors and cables, motors, lighting, pull and junction boxes, breakers and fuses, safety, construction drawings and control systems. Courses meet two and a half hours per day, Monday through Friday. This program is located at West-MEC Northeast Campus, 1617 W. Williams Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
